Hi! My name is Rebecca Lopez Lewis. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I grew up with five brothers and a sister in Adcock’s neighborhood. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, even when I was young. I graduated from UNLV with a dual master in Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. I have taught in many self-contained special education programs with ages ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I really enjoy teaching in the primary SLD program and know the importance of early intervention. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my children and helping out in our community. I am a Best Buddies advocate and have traveled with Best Buddies Nevada to Bloomington, Indiana for leadership trainings. If you need to contact me please feel free to call me at (702) 799-4185 ext. 4080.
